Beneath the Garden Magazine’s mission is to uplift writing that unearths a different perspective on the stories that we’ve heard before. We highly encourage women and marginalized voices to send in their writings.
We want to hear where your story began. It could be from a film that you watched, one line from a shitty novel, or even a scribbled note on a napkin.

Our Vision
Beneath the Garden Magazine is a non-profit organization. What that means is our sole purpose is not to create a profit, but aim to create a fund dedicated to paying our contributors and our editors. BTG was founded in April 2023 with the intent of holding a space for people to share their writing and films.
Since we are just starting out, we are aiming to develop a catalog of different forms of writing and assisting with the production process of filmmaking.
