Did you walk past Penn Station and miss me?

Inspired by Sophie Kinsella.

Did you walk the blocks of New York City,

Across the bones of your past

thinking I’d forgotten that you couldn’t admit it

When I picture you,

Even if it was just for fun,

I wonder what happened to the man I knew

Friends ask me ‘where’d you find this guy?’

I can’t really answer all I remember is how you

You held me and listened to my whispered sighs

Tell me now

Do you need me around?

Cause it’s snowing tonight

And I’ll I catch a train in a cherry red dress

lift my eyes to the lights and

Let my mind fill in the rest
